Opening calendar closes app

I love the look and feel of this app. I purchased the premium version so that my husband and I can sync calendars and shopping lists.
Recently, whenever I attempt to open the calendar, the app shuts down. I have reached out to customer service and am awaiting a response. I will adjust my review based on the response I receive. As of now, I feel I wasted $50 on an app that doesnt fulfill its main function. Very disappointed.
